What is the difference between total carbs and net carbs? Which should I count?

Net carbs is a calculation of: the total carbohydrate amount of carbohydrate, per serving, minus the grams of fiber per serving (Total carbs - fiber = net carbs). Although technically fiber is a form of carbohydrate, your body doesn’t really digest it - this means you don’t need to count it!
