Being in ketosis is known to give you a “fruity” breath. Although it doesn’t bother everyone, you can avoid it by drinking a lot of water and mint tea, and eating keto diet foods rich in electrolytes. It is best to avoid chewing gum and breath mints, since too many of those can put you out of ketosis. Also, note that this is temporary and the keto breath will go away once you get keto-adapted.
